from chicago to los angeles

When I turned 9, I really found my love for hip hop dancing.  The crowd reaction was so amazing that I just wanted to learn more and get better and better. Expressing myself and pushing myself harder and harder is something I love about dance.

In 2016, I left my hometown in Chicago to pursue my passion of dance in Los Angeles. This crazy journey of mine has led me to train under top industry choreographers, work on set for some cool projects, and in 2017, even create fun projects of my own.

I'm super happy with where my journey is headed, but I couldn't have done it all alone. I'm beyond grateful for God and the amazing people he's put in my life. Without the love and support of my friends and family, who knows where I'd be.

A huge dream of mine is to travel and perform on stages around the world, and while doing so I hope to inspire future generations to break free of any stereotypes and pursue whatever it is that they're passionate about.

Spread love, embrace who you are, and be a good person. The way the universe works, great things will come your way.

Donate 2 Dance

Donate 2 Dance

Giving back has always been really important to me. I used to host a book drive back in my home town in Illinois and I collected thousands of books that I donated to a shelter!

Once I moved to LA, I knew that I needed to help and since dance is my passion…what better way to give back than to give back through dance!

The process is simple…to prepare for each event, I get help from Antoine and we secure 4 of the industries’ top dance choreographers who agree to donate their time to teach a class at the event.

Then we invite EVERYONE we know through all social media ports and encourage them to come out and dance at the event.

Dancers don’t need to pay for the 7 hours of classes that are offered at each event, but they do need to donate gently used clothing in order to get into each class.

I’m happy to report that we have been able to donate THOUSANDS of items to people who need it!! We host 3 events each year in Burbank, California and you can find out more details on our Instagram page @Donate2Dance.

In 2017, I started Donate2Dance and the LA dance community has donated over 4,000 clothing and shoe items that I was able to donate back to people in need and dancers who needed dance clothes.

Two of my Mentors, Antoine Troupe and Kolanie Marks, who own KreativMndz Dance Academy, have generously partnered with me to donate their dance studio for each of my events!
